Christmas time with essential oils…

No matter where in the world we live, there are certain scents which remind us of Christmas. Some of us in the South are blessed to live close to countryside where fir and pine trees grow, giving off their wonderful fresh scent. Or we have been privileged to have a real live pine tree in a pot in our home for the December/January period.

Our mom’s or gran’s still bake the spicy Christmas cake and traditional Christmas pudding. Some of us will know the wonderful ice-cream ‘Christmas’ cakes, filled with dried fruit, orange peel and delicious spices. Aah yes, good memories for most of us; even if it’s memories of dipping your fingers into the cake mix before it went into the oven.

We have blended two christmas blends. Into a 10ml bottle are the following quantities of pure essential oils:

  1. Christmas tree blend: 3ml Pine, 4ml Cedarwood, and 3ml Juniper
  2. Spicy Christmas blend: 5ml Sweet orange, 3ml Cinnamon, and 2ml Clove

You can get these blends from us at the market (Shongweni) or you can order them online and we will post them to you, or you can collect from us with prior arrangements.

Here is a short You Tube presentation from Floracopeia showing you a wonderful way to use your blended oil.
